Mental Disorders

Hi, I'm twenty three years old and go to college. My roommate has a bachelors in phsychology and he told me that I should see a doctor for antisocial/histrionic personality disorder. I'm new to this forum and thought maybe somone here could give their opinions as to whether or not I may have these disorders or some othe kind of mental case. Here's a list of my faults(and I know some of them are kinda crazy!):

I cannot tolerate boredom. If I feel bored I will drive far off to random cities, go to a bar, and create somewhat of an alias when meeting people.

I extremely outgoing and make friends really easy, but if i feel like my friends aren't exciting enough, I complete write them off and make a new friend.

I always have to be the center of attention--to the point that I constantly interrupt people.

When in public places such as work, I am overly flirty with all the girls, which causes problems....to the point of being told by many coworkers.

I've been arrested twice for drunk driving, my driver's liscence was suspended for a year and a half. the whole time my liscense was suspended I drove anyway and was arrested 3 times for driving on a revoked liscense, and then failed to appear at court at least four times.

I've stolen medication from one of my really good friends. and hasn't spoken to me since, but I don't feel guilty at all, nor do I really care.

I'm currently two months late on rent and two months late on utilities bill.

One night I got drunk and totaled my car and just left the scene of the accident, and didn't tell my parents for a month(they live in a different state)

I was suspended from my college for a year because I got caught cheating on exams on three different occasions.

I steal things from stores and people all the time. with out feeling bad at all.

At one point, I ended up oweing my parents a lot of money. so to get out of it, I lied to them and told them that the reason why I couldn't pay them back was because I had recently found out I had cancer and was using my money to pay for hospital bills.(which is a bold face lie).

theres much more, but I don't have enough time to write down everything right now. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help. It seems like I have some type of problem that is destroying my life, atleast other people tell me. thanks

After reading your post, I have to say...YES...you have some type of personality disorder. Having no remorse for stealing...feeling entitlement to do whatever you wish? You also sound like you have narcissitic pd as well.
Go see a psychiatrist...get some therapy...or you will be a lonely old person in the years to come. Why on earth would you want to live like this? You cannot possibly be happy. Good luck.

can i ask you: Are you happy? Who is your worst enemy, and do you feel you actually have a problem at all personally?
