Im woriied about my girlfriend because she bites her nails till i they bleed. She even gets some wounds on her fingers. I once read that its ok for someone to bite their nails but with my girlfrend it has become worrying. What could the problem be? is there a way to cure this?

Its an obsessive compulsive nail biting disorder

Its caused by high and sustained levels of anxiety.
